  • The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God the Father and of Christ.

  • God is the almighty Lord, whose sphere of influence is boundless. He has given His Holy Spirit as a guide and comfort to the believer.

  • God sent His Holy Spirit into His Congregation. The Holy Spirit speaks in our conscience and in God's congregation.

  • The office of the keys is a function of the Holy Spirit. Forgiveness is the office of the Spirit and not the office of mere words.
